At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was awarded a silver medal in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to competitions at the elite level in 2011. In just two years, she won the event. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
